Greetings to all!  It is our prayer that all who visit this site may be comforted by the love of God as demonstrated in His only begotten Son Jesus.  The purpose of St. Stephen Lutheran Church is to carry out the great commission of our Lord - to make disciples of all nations through baptism and teaching the Word of God (Matthew 28:18-20).

We are a congregation of sinners, rejoicing in the forgiveness of sins in Jesus Christ, God's own Son.  We believe that Jesus is the only means by which we might inherit eternal life.  We believe that only by His atoning sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection from the dead are we reconciled to God  (cf. John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 5:18-21).

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error or contradiction.  We believe that the doctrines found in the Book of Concord (1580) properly reflect the truths taught in Scripture.

St. Stephen Lutheran Church is a confessional Lutheran church that proclaims the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Bible, as the means by which man comes to know the true God and the Way to eternal life.  We believe God brings people to faith in Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Gospel, in word and sacrament, and consider it our mission to communicate this to all those who will hear it.
