Buddy is from Smoothie and Jagger 1st Litter

Here's Buddy last weekend.  He was 11 weeks old yesterday.  He goes to the Vet next week for his 12 week shots.  He's doing great.
He knows his name and the "Come" command most of the time.  He knows to "Sit" and the retrieving game is going well, he's almost got that too.  We take long walks on the reservior about 2 -4 miles.
He's doing good on the leash, still getting used to tons of people and other dogs.  He loves his soccer ball.   He's not really concerned with loud sudden noises,
I guess because my house is always like that.  We're still working on potty training, he's getting better though.

Here's Buddy almost 3 months old.  Believe it or not, he carrys that bone around with him everywhere.  His jaws are like a pit bulls.
He went to the Vet last week for his 12 week check up and weighed 23.8 lbs.
He's getting big!  He knows the sit command very well, retrieving is going great too.  Housebreaking is going good to,
and I can tell when he has to go outside, he's communicating with me by going to the utility room and sitting at the back door.
He hasn't had an accident in the house for a couple of days, even at night he holds it.  He absolutely loved the snow this past weekend.  We couldn't get him in the house.
He would push his nose in it and then throw the snow in the air and chase it.  The chase me game is his favorite and he loves to wrestle with my husband.
He is curiously friendly when we go for long walks on the reservoir, but that's fine.   I did pull an egorged tick off of his neck the other day probably due to the warm weather.  I wasn't too thrilled about that.
This winter has been very warm so I think the ticks will be bad this year.  I couldn't start the flea and tick Frontline treatment on him until now because the doctor said he was
too young before and we thought the risk was low, not with this mild winter.  We are enjoying him very much, he's our buddy!
I had alot more pictures but for some reason my daughter can't get them off of the disk .
Terry

We are enjoying Buddy.  As you know he is 4 months old now. He's almost 40lbs.
Hope you enjoy the one where he is kissing the guinea pig.  They're in love!  He's much cuter than these pictures show.
He's doing well but he is a handful, a baby.
We enjoy long walks and playing ball.  Potty training is going well, he's got the idea, he just sometimes can't make it to the door fast enough before he realizes he has to go.
He's very affectionate and wants to play, play, play.
Terry

Hi Stacie:  We looked on your website yesterday and I see that Buddy is famous!  We recently went to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina and of course took Buddy.
He was afraid of the ocean at first because he had never seen waves before, but in a few minutes we couldn't get him out of jumping over the waves and drinking alot of salt water.
As you know, he is 5 months old and I took him to the Vet a couple of weeks ago, he weighed 42 lbs.
I try to tire him out by going for long walks and playing ball, it doesn't always work!!
I think he was a soccer player in his previous life.  Potty training is going well.  I think he's got it.
He's lost alot of teeth these last few weeks.  I keep picking them up off of the floor, he spits them out.  We've found 10 of them so far.
Hopefully, this means that the teething and biting is almost over.  I see Reese's is having puppies, all chocolate.
Of course my daughter wants one, one baby is enough!!

Talk to you soon,  Terry

Buddy is 7 months old now and weighs about 53lbs.  He loves the pool and goes in it everytime he goes outside.
We're trying to teach him not to go in the pool when we are not in it.
This might take some work.  He's alot of fun and turning into a great dog.

Misty is from Smoothi and Jagger's First litter together

Hi Stacie,
I noticed that you had only one set of pictures of Smoothie's first litter.  Here is Misty at 2 monthes old and at  3 monthes She went to the vet for her 3 month shots and weighed 29.8 lbs!
She's a big girl!  She is completely housebroken, hasn't had an accident in weeks.  We're still working on "Come", she has selective hearing - I guess like any toddler.
She is a very good girl, I just can't wait until she is done with teething.  She is chewing on everything and especially likes the frozen washcloths that I give her.
She loves baths and my kids are no longer free to bathe alone when she is on the loose!  She loved the snow also, hopping around like a bunny because the snow was deeper than her.
I can't wait to see her swim in our pool this summer!
Thanks,
Laura

Daisy May Hughes

JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT DAISY MAY IS DOING JUST FINE.  SHE DIDN'T LIKE HER CRATE AT ALL BUT JUST LAST NIGHT WAS THE FIRST TIME
THAT SHE SLEPT THRU THE NIGHT FROM 11-6:30.  BEFORE THAT SHE WAS WAKING US UP ABOUT EVERY 2-3 HRS. ABOUT 3AM
WE'D JUST PUT HER IN OUR BED AND THEN SHE WOULD SLEEP TILL WE GOT UP. I THINK SHE REALLY MISSES HER LITTER MATES.
SHE CHECKED OUT JUST FINE AT THE VETS YESTERDAY.  SHE'S NOT POTTY TRAINED YET, SHE HAS A MESS OR 2 EACH DAY
BUT I THINK WITH A LITTLE MORE TIME SHE'LL BE JUST FINE.SHE JUST LOVES TO BE LOVED AND FOLLOWS US EVERY WHERE.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING, WE LOVE HER SOOOOOO MUCH!  :)
CORLISS

Her ride to her new home.

She's doing pretty good now.  She sleeps threw the night usually from about 10:30 till 6am.  Her potty training is coming along.
I mostly know when she's got to go but she really doesn't give me a true signal that it's time to go so I have to watch her 100% of the time, lol.

She's so great, so loving and wants to be with me 100% of the time too.

Ahhhhhhh, HOME!

I just wanted to let you know that she is doing great!  She's finished with all her shots and weighs in at 3 months old at 28lbs.
She's completely potty trained and sits (and waits for you to let her out) at the back door when she wants to go outside.
She gets into everything she can grass, sticks, things around that back yard.  She plays in a kiddy pool we have for her and loves it!
We took her to the lake and she now jumps off the dock, it's really funny to see her because she kind of leans over the edge of the dock and titters there for a little while then when she's ready she'll jump into the water to get her toy.
She then swims to the shore and runs, (she doesn't have the COME command down just yet.
But she completely understands the commands, SIT & DOWN oh and HERE DAISY seems to work some of the time too.
We are working on the HEAL, STAY & COME commands:).

This is how I found her alsleep in a shoe, somehow I think she wanted to chew it but just got tired and decided that sleep was much more important. LOL

She's now 10 months old and doing pretty good.  She's completely house broken doesn't even use the crate any more and hasn't for about 2 month now.
She doesn't chew anything in the house except what's hers, lol.

We love her soooooo much Stacie, she's so warm and gentle and loving!  Thanks again for everything!
Corliss

Just couldn't resist sending you this picture to add to your web site.  Here she is our Lovable, Adorable, (11 months old) "Daisy May" waiting for anyone to come for a visit.
When someone does come the tail wags back and forth like a pendulum on a clock so we now call her a "watch" dog, Check out the tail, LOL!

Gunner
Reese x Shadow

He is now 17 pounds and just the sweetest little thing - we get complements about his temperament all the time.
My twins just love him so much they won't leave him alone.  He follows my husband everywhere.
He is a regular at soccer camp - Brian says he has a routine - he walks to all the kids - lets them tickle him and then when they are done he comes back to Brian and sleeps on his feet.

Coco

Sandy X Jagger

I wanted to provide you with some feedback about Coco.  She is such a terrific dog.  The boys love her and play with her all day.
Sean my little one tells Coco each morning while he is hugging her that they are best friends.  Coco is already 30 pounds.
She sleeps well in her crate and is already house broken.  Each morning she races to the end of our driveway to retrieve the morning newspaper.
She began this one her own without any training.  I now give her a treat for her hard work.
(yellow female)

Kind regards,
Ken, Eileen, Colin, Sean & Coco

Hi Stacie,
I just wanted to share with you some pictures of Coco.  Coco came from Sandy's liter in May of 2006.
She is an absolutely wonderful dog.  Both my boys simply adore her.
She has a great temperament and simply loves people.  Each morning Coco runs to the end of the driveway and retrieves me the morning newspaper.
The neighbors love watching her do this and are jealous as they have to go out in the rain or cold to get their own papers while I get to wait at the front door.

I saw on your website site that Coco's dad has retired and is living a quit life assisting his owner.  We wish them well.

Kind regards,
Ken

Riley

Hi Stacie,
I thought of you today because my dog, Riley, is 2 years old today.  He was from Reese's liter.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this dog.
I live alone, so he is truly my best friend and follows me everywhere I go.
He still gets excited when the doorbell rings and can be a bit of a jumper, but other than that he has really been a great dog.
He makes me laugh and I really enjoy having him around.

Hope your doing well.
 Amy
