Text Box: Stacy’s News
Text Box: Hello everyone! Summer is over (or is it). The weather has been so nice for November. Lisa Cook and I have been busy with a new project for the last several months. We will soon be opening a country store for natural pet supplies . We will carry natural brands of dog and cat food, treats, bakery items, toys, training collars, beds, and more . We will keep you posted on the grand opening date! We are converting a cape cod house into our country store and it will be located off Granary Road in Bel Air (by the Dairy Queen and Waffle house they just built). We are naming the store: Baron’s K9 Country Text Box: Store. John and I just got back from Chicago where we attended a pet trade show. We had a great time and I can’t wait till you see what we are stocking the store with. Watch the mail for your invitation to the grand opening!
I went to Goldstock again with Lisa Cook over Labor Day. Tracker won 3rd place for the Sassy Walk contest. See page 7 for his story.
Lisa Cook and I attended the pet sitting conference in Philadelphia in September. We had a great time and learned a lot. This was Lisa’s first conference. We met two of the authors of Chicken

Winter 2003/2004

Text Box: Hello…..my name is Lisa Kerner, I moved to Abingdon, with my Pug “George” from Boston, Massachusetts in 1996. I hired Stacy to be my pet sitter and not too long after that we became friends. I inquired about a job and became part of the “Red Baron” staff. I am now owned by a second Pug, “Herbie the Love Pug”. I’ll be the first to admit I’m obsessed with Pugs. In 2000 I moved to Delta, PA. And started my own pet sitting business, “LUVAPUG Pet Sitting”. But lets just say there’s more farm animals than anything else where I am. So I’ve rejoined the “Red Baron” staff and Text Box: drive daily to the Bel Air area to do mid day walks for Stacy again. If you ever see a tan Volkswagen Convertible with a black bra and a red tongue on the front….that’s Lisa. She customized her car to look like a pug!
Lisa has been a great friend and a wonderful pet sitter over the last few years. I wish she was closer and could sit for your pets full time!
Thanks for all your help! I couldn’t do this job without the wonderful helpers I have.
