The Greater Chesapeake Area Jensen Enthusiasts extends this invitation to all Jensenites: members of the Jensen Auto Club USA, Jensen-Healey Preservation Society, former Jensen Interceptor Owners Club and Association of Jensen Owners; Jensen Owners Club UK and Southern California, and all International Jensenites. We welcome you to escape to Sunny Historic Coastal New Jersey at the Summer Soltice for the 6th Annual International Jensen USA East Gathering. Our theme this year is "Jensen Freedom Tour: Philadelphia/Coastal New Jersey"!
The event will be packed full of information and adventure, as we have an exciting line up for all Jensen owners and enthusiasts, and their families who attend.
To start our wonderful gathering Wednesday night, a reception will have a tropical feel at the nearby Lobster Trap Restaurant, located right on the scenic Cooper River within sight of our hotel. This location was selected by The Northern Jensenite Contingent of Greater CHARJE.
On Thursday our 'Long Distance Drivers' will find a welcome break and the opportunity to have guided tours of the Historic Philadelphia Center and not have to worry about driving into Downtown with their Historic Jensens. Another choice will be to (also) visit some fabulous Automobile Collections.
The tours Thursday and Friday will be followed by excellent technical seminars. They will cover important topics such as Lotus Cam Belt and Timing adjustments and Interceptor and Jensen Healey/GT 'LUCAS GREMLINS' Systems Analysis.
Thursday evening we will have our traditional 'Jensen Bar-B-Que' in the Cooper River Park just across from the Hotel. Of course this will be followed up by our Jensen Family Gatherings in the Hospitality Areas of the Hotel.
Friday will unfold another memorable Jensen Historic Tour. This time we will Jensen to Historic Cape May, the playground of the Rich and Famous as early as the 1700's. The Victorian Charm will be further enhanced by our Jensens arriving in style.Roy and Pete have arranged lunch at one of their restaurant favorites on the Cape May Canal. Of course a 'photo op' has been planned as well!!!
Saturday will be full of fun: In the Morning our CHARJE FUNkhana will be back with new challenges, and in the afternoon our Display of Historic Jensens and other Especially Invited Historic Mopars will reward our collective efforts and treat our visions.
Our culminatng event Saturday evening will be our 'Jensen Elegante' Traditional Awards and Recognition Banquet. Nor will we forget our exciting Jensen Auction!
