Saturday Lodging
The consensus of opinion, based on first hand
accounts and Hotels.com reviews, is that the hotels in Binghamton itself
aren't the best, and we'd be better served to stay in Johnson City just a
few miles to the west. There are a number of hotels there that should suit
us. You're on your own for booking, although several of us have already
reserved rooms at the Red Roof Inn (Pin 5 on the map). All these hotels can be
booked by phone or online at
Hotels.com or Expedia.com.

Route
The exact route is subject to change right up
until the time we leave in response to road closures and conditions. However, a
preliminary route has been driven by Dan Tinsman and is shown below. Click
on the image to see it full size (not much bigger, but more legible).

preliminary route in PDF format.

"What if I break
down?"
What, in a classic British Car? Heaven
forbid... Historically, there have been very few breakdowns that put ABRR
cars out of the running entirely. Most little problems that crop up along
the route are solved with the help and support of the participants.
If, however, we have a problem that can't be
fixed at the road side, There will be a support vehicle with a trailer
following the field to provide help and, if need be, recovery services. This
is being provided by
Ragtops and Roadsters.
