Operations Documents
- PRR
Book of Rules 1956-64
The Rules define the general responsibilities of train crews and
operators with regard to moving trains in a safe and efficient manner. Many
of the Rules are not applicable, possible, or practical to a model railroad
however, where they are applicable, possible, and practical to the model
railroad, they should be followed.
- StARR
Timetable No. 206 (effective July 1, 2006)
The StARR timetable contains special instructions regarding the movements of trains
specific to the StARR. All special instructions are applicable, possible,
and practical on StARR and are necessary for safe and efficient
operations.
- System Map
The System Map is part of the time-table but because
StARR is rapidly evolving, the current system map is posted separately
here and in the layout room.
- Bulletins
Bulletins are issued when modifications to Rules or Timetable are needed
to cover temporary situations or new situations that are not covered in the Rules or
Timetable. Bulletins are sent via e-mail to members and guest operators and
copies are posted here and on the operations bulleting board in the layout
room.
- Procedures
Procedures are instructions on how to perform
specific tasks or how to operate specific pieces of StARR equipment.
Procedures are posted here and copies are held in the StARR Library
