Help Needed -- Eagle Scout Project

As you already know, the CYO room is being renovated as part of a "boy scout eagle project". Chris, who is organizing the work called me and asked if anyone would be interested in helping out over the next few weekends. I have given him a link to here so that he can communicate directly with whoever wants to help out. Let me know if you have any questions.... Mike

Dear CYO members, This Saturday 7/25, at 10:00 A.M., I will be having the first part of my Eagle Project. The tasks we will be completing are removing the furniture from the room and taking out the ceiling tiles. Please bring your old clothing because stuff that might fall down from the ceiling may ruin it. All safety items, (gloves, masks, goggles), will be there for removing the ceiling tiles. Any one that wants to help out, please post or E-mail me (cjh94@yahoo.com) so I know who is coming. I don't need that many people because i also have the scouts helping out. This shouldn't take any longer than 2 1/2 hours. We will be meeting at St. Catherine’s Church.I appreciate all the help i get and I hope to see you guys there. Thank you, Chris Heimbuch

Chris- If you want, you can give the scouts this link and you can manage the project via this page... just an idea...

Hey guys, today was the first day of my project and it went great. We gutted the room, and even got to painting which makes me ahead of schedule. Also there was too many people that came so i guess i didn't need help. So just to keep you updated i took alot of pictures for progress but when i get them ill post them. If i need any help ill post but for now i think I'm good because i had too many scouts.

No one did, but the problem was to many people came haha so it doesn't matter if they came or not. This Sunday I think im going to grab some scouts to finish up the painting.

The progress is great! This Saturday I'm working on it cause we got the ceiling tiles in finally. I already got enough people coming so thats covered. If i didn't mention, one of the people in my troop donated a bunch of furniture. So this Saturday we are putting up the ceiling tiles, and the painting is done.. so the room is coming along very nicely. I'll let you know how Saturday goes.
