Visit to British Art Center

Last year's course members visited the British Art Center in New Haven on Tuesday, November 11, 1997. The following photographic record of our trip shows students in the Print Room. The visit included (a) perusing watercolor paintings by Turner and Constable, and select plates from Blake's prophetic books; (b) visiting the BAC Library; (c) observing oil paintings by Turner, John Martin, and Constable.

Subsequently, select students returned to the BAC to research their interdisciplinary art projects. As always, we are grateful for the excellent tutelage and friendly reception found at the BAC.
