The Philmont Trading Post
The Tooth Of Time Traders is the official name of the "camp store" at Philmont base camp. It is located beside the main mess hall. It is quite impressive.

The store is open from approximately 9AM to 9PM. It is well-stocked, and offers a wide variety of Philmont-trademarked clothing, backpacking equipment, film and cameras, flashlights and batteries, canteens and Nalgenes and water bladders, candy and gum, souvenirs like post cards and mugs and belt buckles,  and some great books all about Philmont history and the environment of New Mexico.

There is also a snack bar on the far (north) end of the store building, offering lots of serve-yourself fountain sodas, bottled soda, candy, and ice cream.
