I'm from the Northeastern part of the United States, and when I think city, places like Camden, and Newark spring to mind. I tend to think dirty, crowded and crime riden. So I came into Auckland with a bit of a jaundiced eye. I'm happy to say Auckland was none of these things, and I was quite pleasantly surpised.
