| Some history about my home. My home was one of the
original homes built in St Paul Park.

the 1950's, the owner converted the house into a duplex.
This was common after World War II with all the servicemen
returning and the lack of housing for them. At the same
time, the home was "modernized" by lowering the ceilings from
the original 10 feet to 8 feet. This remodeling
drastically altered the character of the house. When I bought
the house in 1994, it was still used as a duplex. During
the last 10 years I have been restoring it to it's original
design. I have a few photos of my porch remodeling project
below. In the next few months I will be adding additional
information about my house and some of my restoration efforts.
