Portland Cacophony Society - Mutants, Monkeys, and Hairballs

Raya, Chuck and Danger Car at Mt Angel Abbey parking lot. Can you guess where we had breakfast that morning? Hint 1: Named after another high place. Hint 2: The young lady asked us if we had been to church. We said we hadn't but we were going to the monastary.

The monks have computers to keep up on the latest caco events.

The animals came over to the window to see Emily.

Vic and Emily became engrossed in the museum collections.

Emily engrossed for sure.

Emily's interest rubbed off on Cary.

The winds of enthusiasm blew through the group, even infecting your camera man.

After leaving Mt. Angel, we were a little behind on our agenda, so Chuck didn't spend too long looking for the right banana at this roadside stand.

Art cars on the Wheatland Ferry - on the way to McMinnville.

We were running short on time so Chuck decided to add an unscheduled stop at the Spruce Goose.

Cary tried to offer the guide one of her eggs, but he would not be corrupted by her beguiling ways.

After all the fun of the museum, everyone was hungry for burgers from Alf's monkey hut! Note 2 digit year coding - this will come back to haunt them in 2098.

Danger car at Alf's Monkey Hut.

Monkey at Alf's. Marci had told us there would be a chihuahua but there wasn't. Somebody politely expressed doubts about Marci having accurate information. We checked with the waitress who said there was a chihuahua at one time, but no more. She looked sad, as if there was more to the story, but I never followed up on it. I figured she would share on her own timetable.

Raya and Chuck had fun with Cary's alien glasses.

The aliens are all around us, the glasses let you see them.

Steve, at Alf's, looking forward to sweet potato fries.
