Training the Birds

I fly my birds three to four times a week to train them and keep them in good health. These animals are built to fly and every release is joyous for them, too. The birds are especially bred for their homing abilities. Like carrier pigeons, these birds have an innate instinct to find their way home. I personally train them by taking them out further and further each time, starting about a foot away from the cage and progressing out 60 miles away by the end of a three month training process. Although these birds can probably find home from just about anywhere, 60 miles is a good limit for both their endurance and health.
