Updated 12/2/04. Well it's
been a long time since I revised this. You might
say I'm a Vidiot. That's a nut about video. I
have been involved in video now since home video
tape systems first came out. I particularly enjoy
nonlinear video editing. I use a Canopus AVDC-100
to convert analog video to digital (DV format)
and save it to my Dell Dimension 8200 with a 1.8
GHZ Pentium 4 and 768 MB of 800 MHZ RDRAM and a
200 GB 7,200 RPM Drive.. For software, I use
Ulead's MediaStudio Pro 7. I prefer it to Adobe
Premiere. Before becoming involved with
nonlinear, I did linear editing using a Panasonic
WJAVE-5 digital switcher and VCR control provided
by the Interactive Microsystems video editing
software/hardware on an Amiga. Click right.
What Are PAPILLON'S? Papillons are a breed of
dog. They stand about 10" high at the
shoulders, weigh from 4 1/2 to 9 pounds, have
fine soft fur (usually brown and white or black
and white) and beautiful long erect ears with a
flowing fringe that nearly reaches the ground. It
is said you can't have just one Papillon (sort of
like those potato chips!). Their names are
Charlie and Magic. Charlie is a sweetheart. Magic
is a terror. Wouldn't you know, Magic is the show
dog. Charlie is just our "Charlie".
