The next step was to cut out a slot for the bolt handle. I setup the tube in the mill and roughly marked out where the slot will be.

After a few passes I had a rough slot for the Bolt Handle.
After a bit of fitting with the Bolt in this is how it turned out.
Quick test fit with the bolt installed. Bolt unlocked and open.
Bolt in the closed and locked position.

I cleaned up a Receiver tube a bit, its still not perfect but it will work for the prototype.
I cut and milled this piece for the bottom of the receiver tube. This will give the bottom frame its attachment point.
Next I drill and tapped the piece with two 2/56" bolts to temporarily hold it to the receiver tube while I solder the two pieces together.

| I got a little sloppy and went a little over board with the Alumaloy on this side. It's a mess right now but I should be able to clean everything up with the dremal. |
This side came out much better and won't need as much clean up. To be continued......
Next I layed out and drilled/reamed the locking pin hole.
