Then I drilled and Taped the Receiver to accept the three 2/56" mounting screws. (Weather they hold up is another story.)
After that I made a simple Plunger for the Hammer.
Here are the Fire Control Parts laid out, it a pretty simple setup.
Assembled
Next I faced the breech end of the Barrel to get ready to ream the chamber.
Here is how I reamed the chamber. Holding the reamer from turning with a open end wench (my tap wench was to small) I let the pilot guide the reamer and applied pressure with the tool holder and carriage. I used lots of oil and cleaned the reamer often. I think it came out pretty good for my first one, it cut so easy I was surprised
I couldn't get a good picture of the chamber but here is a test fit with a .22LR round. It's not a tight fit but I only used a sporting reamer so I don't think its suppose to be. Its pretty comparable to my old Ruger's chamber.
Next using a dremal cut of wheel in the mill I cut a grove for the extractor.
After a bit of filing and shaping the extractor everything works pretty good.
We Have Ignition .... Here you can see one of the first test shots on a empty round (primer only) to test the hammer and firing pin. I did about 5 or 6 tests and the all fired with no problems. (Low Res. due to extraction from a video file.)
This is the Locking Pin for the Barrel Block. My camera batteries were dead so this is the only picture I could get while making it or afterwards, more will follow later on........
This is a 2/56" screw and the washer I made to hold the locking pin in place.
One more quick test fit.
Here you can see locking pin installed and the slot cut in the barrel block for the pin. Everything is still pretty rough, I haven't bothered to do any clean up on any of the parts yet. I'm hoping to test fire it this week.
9-30-05 Here are the results of the frist real test shots. I shot 25 rounds of the Colibri Ammo (which is a 20 grain bullet, powder less, primer only round) withwithout any real problems. They have some tough rims on them though, some of the shots took a few hits of the hammer to fire off. Other than that they shot ok. It's actual fun stuff to plink with, no recoil and their quiet as a pellet gun. The picture below is of 14 rounds at about 7 paces. (keep in mind there are no real sights, just a grove and I shot it with no grips )

I also shot 5 rounds of some .22LR CCI's. That was about all I could handle without a grip, it had some pretty good recoil to it with such a short barrel. Those all fired off with single hammer hits. The only problem I have so far is I cut into the barrel to far for the extractor so the rounds have a slight bulge in them were the extractor grove is. I don't think it will be to much of a problem and if so I will make another barrel simple as that was.
