There's something about survival rifles I love, I'm not sure what it is but there unique to me. Even since buying an Ar-7 I wanted to make my own. I planned on making one from aluminum and wanted it to have smooth line when folded. I had some basic plans drawn up but lost interest until I recently saw a thread on the patent for Maxwell G Atchisson design. This design combines his design with my old drawings. I still have to figure out some things but it should be pretty straight forward to build. The pivot points might be a little challenging to machine but I think I can work it out.
