This Web Page will follow the design and building of my Sten. This will be a reproduction of the MKIII. I am going to try to keep it as scale as posable while keeping it legal so it will have to have a 16" barrel and be semi-auto only. I think full auto is a watse anyway unless its belt fed of course. This will not be built from a parts kit, it will be machined out of aluminum. I plan on using a 16" uzi barrel with steel barrel bushings. Making a new trigger group out of solid aluminum incorporating the dust cover into it to keep the original looks. But this would leave room for a new FCG with a hammer and either modifying a stock bolt or building a new one with a firing pin of course. Maybe even a fake suppressor to cover the ugly long barrel. As of right now its still in the design phase. I have started to buy some parts for it and should be starting on it very soon.
