Each parish forms a Finance Committee to assist the Pastor in the financial concerns and directions of the parish. The Pastor selects members of the parish to serve on this committee for designated terms. In addition, a member of the Parish Pastoral Council and the Home and School Association attend Finance Committee meetings to act as a liaison for their respective organizations. With the help of this committee, the Pastor determines the feasibility of capital improvements, arranges for a fiscal budget and addresses such concerns as setting school tuition and income goals. This group of volunteers is tasked with the accounting of weekly and Holy Day church collections. At present, five teams are assigned such that each team is scheduled once every 4-5 weeks.
