Lisa Bright Tiemann

Lisa is a co-founder of Sacred Source Belly Dance and artistic advisor/choreographer for the Boston-area troupe Solaris and Melrose troupe Serpentine.  She was a founding member of The Goddess Dancing and has taught and performed belly dance since 1990.  An experience yoga teacher (RYT) and visual artist, her dance and teaching style reflect a passion for kinesthetic self-discovery, creative expression and movement meditation.  She is inspired by mystery, breath, rhythm, many fine Middle Eastern dance teachers, the unique genius of each student, and the gathering of women.

Summer 5 week session.  An introduction to the technique and philosophy of belly dance.  Veils and zills will be explored.  Open to beginners or those wishing to review.  Note:  This class is usually taught alternate weeks by Lisa Tiemann and Lorraine Lafata.

Belly Dance II - Advanced Beginners

Mondays, 7:00pm -9:00 pm , Cost $20 per studio class
