Companions in Ministry We are a group of women of Saint Matthew parish who meet each Wednesday from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm in the Convent at 3040 Cottman Ave (the entrance to the convent is on Hawthorne St.). We share warm loving companionship, we gather and read the Scripture for Sunday, then faith share how the Scripture relates to our own daily living and loving the Lord. We then go to the Chapel, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed on the altar for adoration and prayer. We pray from the Christian Prayer book, which is the reading of the psalms and praying our petitions. We then have quiet moments of prayer with our beloved Savior, then the Blessed Sacrament is reposed in the tabernacle and we depart. If you are interested, call Sister Marita Anthony 215-333-8214, or just come, you are most wel-come to join us.
