Bereavement Group
A bereavement ministry exists as an outreach to provide comfort and support to fellow parishioners who have experienced loss and grief because of the death of a loved one. Concerned and dedicated parishioners offer prayer and assistance, home visitation and follow up contacts to the bereaved. Team members assist the family in preparing the Liturgy for the funeral. A booklet “How to Grieve” is sent to each family to assist them in this time of loss. Each year the Sunday after All Souls Day we offer a special memorial Mass for the deceased of the parish. Family members are invited to attend the Mass and take part in a friendly social after the Mass. Our goal is to lend a warm touch to those who mourn, in imitation of the gentle heal-healing love of Christ. If you are interested in joining our Bereavement Care team, please contact Sister Marita Anthony, 215-333-8214 or the Rectory 215-333-0585.

Parents of Children with Special Needs
This group provides educational, emotional, and life experience support to those parents raising children with special needs.

Mothers of Young Children
Through the Mothers of Young Children group, mothers have the opportunity to give and receive support, exchange in-formation, enhance their Christian values, and share experiences with other mothers. Aided by a facilitator, mothers share insights, empathize with problems, offer practical suggestions, and clarify the mother's role as a parent, person, and partner. The group meets monthly. Baby-sitting is provided for a nominal fee. Members must be registered in the Parish and have as least one child between the ages of birth and first grade.

Ecumenical Group
This ecumenical and interfaith group is responsible for coordination and facil-itating local ecumenical and interfaith activities. They insure that the parish is a place of ecumenical witness, and fosters deeper ecumenical and inter-religious awareness with the community.

Respect Life
The Respect Life Committee promotes the sanctity of life through: 1. The Annual Baby Shower (which helps families in the parish as well as local crisis pregnancy homes) 2. Commemoration of Pro-Life Sunday 3. The Mother's Day celebration with the sale of roses 4. Distribution of Pro-Life Voter's Guides. The members are only called upon to assist with the functions mentioned. We do not meet often but when we do have meetings they are held in the teacher's lounge in the school.
