This is Madelman's spaceship from their "Cosmic" line of figures, which was produced in the early 70s. "The M7X Astronave" is another MMM-scaled Sci-Fi vehicle that goes well with the Mattel figures.
These M7Xs are rare and no longer in production, but pop up on eBay every now and then. As of late, about once a month.
It seems to be a small two-man shuttle, with a bit more futuristic look to it than the other MMM items. One might be able to display it as a spacecraft for Callisto rather than the terran.astronauts.
This view shows the four "probe launching tubes" in the roof of the ship.
The front canopy flips up to allow access to the cabin. The two pilots (a yellow leadworks figure and Callisto) are seated in place with their lap consoles swung into place. This front view shows the forward red beacon (which lights up) and the lens of the "viewing console".
At left is a view through the open rear. The toy was designed to allow the player to hold the ship in front of one's face and look right into the cockpit to see out the front window...that's why the seats are so far apart.
The console in the middle shows the view through a lens in the ship's front. It gives you a slightly blurry upside-down view of what lies before the ship.
Some features at right are...
A: the firing button for the four probes; pressing the ship against your forehead would fire the missiles sequentially.
B: The lid for one of two rear stowage compartments.
C: The landing gear/handle. Squeezing the handle powers a dynamo which in turn lights up the beacon on the front. In a dark room, the light is bright enough to illuminate the control console in the cockpit as well as the yellow-green panels on the upper outside hull.
