6-20-09 Larry Mosher hosts open house for the membership which brought members from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine to Beverly, MA
We also have members in CA, FL and PA so our club covers a wide area...
It had rained for the last 4 days and the forecast wasn't looking good for the next 5 days, but Mother nature smiled on Larry and stopped the rain. She gave us a beautiful day, probably more to make the weather men look bad, but the club really enjoyed the welcome by Larry and Joyce Mosher.
Photos of the garden at 8:30am before everyone arrives.

Guest started arriving at 9am and stayed through 5:30pm

Larry explained where to walk and answered numerous questions about his railroad and garden all day.

Steam up tracks:

Cape Ann lighthouse is a working lighthouse.

First out were the electric engines

Then some live steam made the rounds

There is always different things to see in the ponds.

A man after my own heart - After watching numerous steam engines run this guy asked if there were going to be any "real trains running" so I let him run my Dash 9 with the container train. Look how happy a Diesel makes him...
