| This is the front of Eliza's Bed and Beach, on the ocean in Anahola, Kaua'i. Her house borders Anahola Beach and is located about two-thirds of the way up the eastern shore. We were about 14 miles north of the airport in Lihue and 10 miles south of Kilauea. |

| The studio apartment we stayed in is to the left of the garage. The lanai, a Hawaiian word describing a screened-in porch, is just behind the shrubbery. We enjoyed most of our breakfasts and some lunches sitting in the lanai. In Tucson we call them Arizona Rooms, although the view is rather different. |
