Product Design-Conceive, design & develop Consumer Products specializing in Storage and Organizational Products, Fashion Driven Home Furnishings, Kitchen and Bath Accessories, Giftware, and Point-of-Purchase Displays. Responsibility from idea through manufacturing.
Graphic Design-Conceive and design product packaging, brand identity, logos and image. Illustration and copywriting for Product Assembly Instructions, Pallets & Planograms. Photography set-up and prop styling.
Product Engineering-technical knowledge of a wide range of materials and methods used in manufacturing metal, plastics, wood, fabric, ceramics, packaging and combined material products. Work with overseas & domestic manufacturers and model makers to develop fully specified samples. Solve assembly and manufacturing issues. Hands on product testing and approval of final samples for production.
Trend Setter-Study consumer and retailer trends to identify, address, and incorporate the most sellable aspects into the initial design concepts; proactively adapt and conceptualize trends for future products. Keep informed of color trends, material trends, design, and marketing developments to continually improve design ability, related product and industry knowledge.
Sales Support-Excellent presentation and communication skills. Continuously strive to improve concepts and offer fresh ideas. Prepare sketches and computer rendered illustrations for presentation of design and engineering concepts. Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
Computer Expert-Exceptionally computer savvy with knowledge of the latest hardware and software. CorelDraw, Rhino 3D and Photoshop expert. Also use InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc... Mac or PC.
