I noticed a comment in the SouthTownStar titled
Man sues Matteson police over Taser attack, someone had responded stating that when the poster described their experiences they were
"whining". This along with the recent
"censorship" by WTOP of posts that describe experiences of the regions populations, got my typing fingers a boiling again.
Why the censorship ? Why attack a victims claims as whining ? Why the claims of "sour grapes" ?
Where is the indigent response that provides actual solutions to problems such as attorney betrayal or police abuse ? Where is the "Fourth Estate" demanding evidence of criminal activity ? For that matter what about the courts that
"process" cases with "presumption of guilt" policy.
The victims of these abuses get attacked in the pubic forums as "
whining", "
sour grapes", they get threatened with attack by the police. I received a response to a post on
WTOP that illustrates such an attack. The poster stated that I should be "
pulled over for a traffic violation and shot", when I contacted WTOP they asked if I wanted to pull my post - not the offending post. This is a concern because based upon experience I do know that these individuals in Blue are "above any law", video, evidence and witnesses will be lost. A client without leverage over their attorney will be presumed guilty, they will be processed, or expected to pay exorbitant sums to ensure that the counsel does their job. How many times did I hear a response to
claims of innocence be brushed aside with "
sure you are, that is what they all say" ?
I have been told that I would regret it if we did not have police - NOT.....
Actually not, I had expected a professional diligent society to protect a woman from an abusive husband, this woman had sought marriage, mental health counseling from State Social Services and had documented history of abuse. I could not believe that we would become a target of a
Religious Crusade, by an attorney whose client was considering a gender change, drug user and abusive. The police were always late, failed to focus on the facts being told them and did nothing to resolve the issue. The
first time I was assaulted confused me - Why were they in my back yard, we had good relations with our neighbors, neighbors who had stopped a couple of assaults - did someone see the husband stalking ? Why didnt the cops say so ? I had found my girlfriend knocked out in the back once and seen the jerk in the woods. It is to be noted that it was the neighbors, not the alleged "law enforcement" that scared off the husbands attacks while I was at work. The assaults, threats and harassment continued even after we moved thirty miles away. This we know 100%.
Now in context I am an ex-Marine, I shot expert, I was raised with knives and guns - without the social constraints I could have easily taken care of our problems. What I did know was that if I did solve our immediate problem another level of "law enforcement" would take action -
I would have become the "monster" for the authorities. On both police assault occasions I took their beatings, there was no reasoning with these animals - Why are you in my yard ? Why do you want my Id ?
The first assault occurred in my back yard there were no credible witnesses along with no charges that would require legal representation in the era of the
Code of Professional Responsibility, I would have had
leverage for competent legal counsel before the
2000 change. However
the second assault in the CVS store removed any doubt about the nature of the American Policeman and the industry that their uniform represents.
The CVS store had cameras, witnesses to the assault, the events that transpired I know 100%, the responses identify institutions in denial, cover up and deceit. They prove that "presumption of guilt" is the rule, that "presumption of innocence" is a lie. The issue identifies the real mandates of those that claim leadership in the local community of Manassas Virginia and highlights the national trends.
The look on those police officers faces when they tased me three times to no effect was once in a lifetime. I was still trying to figure out why, after I had submitted for arrest they were yelling that I had resisted. I turned around, my knees were hurting and asked what was going on - I faced them yelling at me to get down on the ground, my knees hurt, the cartilage was popping from standing so long - ER, waiting at the CVS. After being tased my knees did not hurt any longer - it would have been funny if they had killed me that morning. If it made it to the papers they would say "
ex-Marine killed by cops in CVS bringing his girlfriend home from the hospital where she was being treated for severe reaction to medication". The store video should have had the angles for a classic recording.
But then the City of Manassas Virginia lost the video and then covered up a criminal assault - I have been asking one thing since the incident "
Where is the store video ?".
I have walked this up and down the chain-of-command the latest being the
FBI/Color of Law apparently they too look the other way - a placebo for the masses.
Has there been one case where video under the control of the authorities was used to convict a "bad apple" ? This store video was under control of the CVS store, police and available to our attorneys through subpoena - I could not get it to prove my innocence. If I/we had really committed a crime I am sure that the video would have been in my face.
In the last eight years I have noticed on the national stage that this country now has wiretapping,
police assaults,
political repression,
U.S. prison population dwarfs that of other nations and
Homeland Security Assuming Broad Powers, Turning Vast Swaths of U.S. into "Constitution-Free Zone" and I have seen the dismantling of this country by
Christian Zealots who selectively use their religion to persecute those that do not agree with them. It has been observed that the Fourth Estate and the alleged authorities that conspire to cover up the incidents as a result of an unholy marriage of religious fanaticism and greed.
I live in a country that has "Rogue State" status. One that claims civil rights of its citizens but then squashes them. Law enforcement that is a joke, claiming to enforce the law but then covering up ineptitude, crimes and negligence. Sure they beat me up twice,
I still know what I know - I know that they did not collect evidence of either events, I know that these law enforcement officers framed me and I know that the Virginia State Bar's claims of a diligent membership has no foundation. I know based upon experience that one does not call any government official for a solution (five years plus of death threats, harassment, vandalism, stalking and assaults), one calls them to clean up the trash.
I think that I will continue to whine, of course silence might be the best revenge if one follows the trends -
I am conflicted.
Silence:
- Allow abusive police practices occur without challenge - note that it is the amateur videos catching these abusers. Has there been one case where a video under police control was used to catch a police assault ?
- Attorneys turn the other way, abstracting their service to satellite venues so that they are further protected from their own greed and incompetence.
- An agency of a State Supreme Court that turns away from the alleged laws and allows its members to presume everyone guilty and makes claims of a diligent membership without foundation - so much for certifying its membership.
- The Press a willing puppet to the State continues to censor the voices of experiences.
The citizen becomes a crop to be harvested.....
Regardless such responses as "whining" and "censorship" defines the one attempting to silence the truth, small individuals that are closer to the abuser than the victim. So I will continue to "Whine" as defined by my First Amendment Right - until I am told that the First Amendment is no longer valid or I am shot in a traffic stop.
