For the Greater Good ?

Observations:

• Presentation of our experiences - I am amazed at the hostility against me, people would rather attack me rather than address the problems that our experiences represent. Those that claim to represent the "law enforcement" community imply that I should be shot at a traffic stop, but they are not incensed about the fact that our experiences represent their "brothers" overstepping the law and a system that chooses to avoid addressing the professional responsibility of office.
• Professionals avoiding the responsibility of office - which is worse betrayal by those hired to represent, a Police Chief who covers up the abuses of his officers or a Magistrate that ignores a "death threat" on tape.
• Institutions avoiding their responsibilities
  • Virginia State Bar and its 2000 change from Code of Professional Responsibility to avoiding "strategy" with Professional Guidelines and Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • FBI and its Color of Law has not responded. Feel like there is a knife at my back, we did make some mistakes, health and distrust made us want to escape. These "law enforcement" institutions prey on the weak, easier to persecute a damaged victim than to take down an organization that preys on the citizen.
  • Governor Tim Kaine did respond with a letter stating that ours was a "local issue" - I would not have written if the "locals" had been professional and addressed our issues.

Were our experiences for the "Greater Good" ?

• What greater good was accomplished in the manner that the Virginia State Bar addressed the desertion of Mr. Thomas E. Burks. Sending the files and then dismissing a probono client, that year they had managed remove their ethical policies of "maintaining the integrity of the profession". So by not addressing the victims of their members desertion/theft they are fullfilling the needs of the greater good ?
• What greater good was accomplished by Mr. J. Michael Sharman and his association with Mr. A. Strode Brent ? Was it to spread the Christian faith through persecution, my girlfriend was the one that went to church, not her husband. We set foot in church a couple of times but after Mr. J. Micheal Sharman's use of the church to persecute us we avoid them, my girlfriend does mail order Bible studies. As a professional, "officer of the court" (whatever that means), did he overstep his bounds on some ethical issue as was stated by Ms. Judy Dugger on several occasions ? If he did then how was the greater good served ?
• Throughout these experiences the Virginia State Bar, claiming oversight, actively avoided addressing strategy failures and does not provide a process that would protect a damaged client. How is failing to protect an individual citizen upholding the law and for the greater good ? If the integrity of its members are in question then the representation is in question and if that is the case then the courts judgments are lacking.

What did these people accomplish by avoiding their professional responsibilities ?
If somehow our being assaulted by the police, the subject covered up by the courts and the authorities for the greater good, how is such an event good for the American society ?

What about the consequences of these professionals actions.

• I am not a happy camper, neither is my girlfriend, heck we were stupid and tried to escape, I wrote this site and I sure as heck would not help one of these frauds.
• Consider the lying public officials who cover up such incidents, ignoring or blustering.
• Consider the integrity of such institutions as the Virginia State Bar, the governments of Virginia and the FBI.
• The society that is exposed to the betrayal of their "public trust", police beating up citizens but letting sociopaths to prey on the communities citizens.
• In addition to our being upset about the betrayal of alleged "rule of law" by the "authorities" there is the damage. My girlfriends breakdowns, financial losses and our own mistakes as we tried to escape the region. We do not trust anyone in this region, the social paradigm is that of predation without law or oversight.
• Our experiences demonstrated that evidence, documents and witnesses are irrelevant in the Virginia court system, the only law is presumption of guilt - unless one can buy their way out.
• The people who stalked and assaulted my girlfriend, vandalized our property and harassed us had no problem with lying, we observed this on numerous occasions. We also observe that the alleged "upstanding" citizens in authority also have no problem in lying and avoidance, they expect liars and they are liars. I see no difference between those in authority and those that they claim to be protecting the citizens from.

Is this a society of "Rule of Law" or just a farce that generations of my ancestors fought to defend ?
