Socialized Capitalism

The thumb on the scale....

Consider inviting a guest to your house and they never leave, in fact they bring friends.

For the sake of this discussion the household consists of four people, person "A" is alpha, the head of the household, "B", "C" and "D" are subordinate. A guest comes over and notices that the residence has a tree that produces a unique fruit, the guest tells person "A" that they will harvest the fruit and market it, in return they will pay person "A".

While they are harvesting the fruit, the guest molests person "B". The molestation of person "B" upsets the household. Person "A" considers kicking the guest out of the house regardless of the financial benefits derived from the fruit sale. Person "C" sides with the guest, it is all about profit for them. Rather than curtailing the molestation, the guest, seeing that person "C" would be more supportive of their interests goes back and talks to their buddy "Mr. Gov". "Mr. Gov" was a customer that was dependent on the fruit, so "Mr. Gov" comes to the house, removes person "A" and puts person "C" in their place.

The funny thing is that the guest sold the activity to "Mr. Gov" as being in their best interests. "Mr. Gov" probably removed Person "A" for free, not only purchasing the product but also providing "strong arm/protection" services at cost. Persons "B" and "D" are very upset with the intervention of "Mr. Gov" and the guest that would never go away. So the guest and person "C" asks "Mr. Gov" to take up residence in the house to keep them safe - the guest pays for nothing, they profit from having played their customer, "Mr. Gov" and the household against each other.....

The "guest" never pays, they play the other parties against each other and from the chaos they profit.

The Bailout - Corporations are the guest's that never go away.

The only responsibility the American government should have is over its people, if a country collapses then the American citizens on foreign soil should be extracted. If there is a national interest in a commodity, diplomacy could be used to facilitate such trade.

Was kind of curious as to how much assistance has been provided by the government to corporate interests, for this case the oil companies stand out. America has bailed out the oil companies in the Middle East, South America and Africa. This country has been instrumental in destabilizing or attempting to countries. This left me with a list of questions and perceptions:

The Scam - these corporations have.

Where else would someone be able to get away with giving someone money that they cannot pay back and then make it their fault. Notably the credit card companies, they know that the "gamble" takes over when times get hard, always the hope that things would get better tomorrow.

If I were to go out to the street, find someone there and hand them a thousand dollars with interest. Time passes and they do not pay it back, if I was a judge the first question I would ask is motivation, why did you make the loan to someone that did not have an income ?

Everywhere I look I see legislation drafted to support corporate interests, when the laws themselves are vague their interests are supported by the bias of the courts, officers of whom are probably invested in these corporations.
