The current state of this society is not a consequence of professionals executing their roles in a diligent manner. There are "apples" claiming to represent a democratic society, they do not. This is not a new trend it is very old with new toys, corruption has always been with us. The question is what is done about the corruption? In the modern era, society can no longer tolerate this infection consuming the health of the community for personal profit or weird crusades.
The trees of power and greed does not grow without roots. Bernard Madoff was not successful without support of those within the system who looked the other way. Law enforcement will allow a gang to thrive yet will break into citizens homes and accost them - why is this? In response to confrontation law enforcement will claim that they are researching the theater, yet breaking into homes, assaulting families and killing pets is not the result of diligent research of the theater or good tactics a notable example was when the home was a Mayor's house, Mayor Cheye Calvo, regardless of his guilt or innocence.
A society that justifies abuse/torture in its name is a monster, the consequences of this act breeds an environment of fear and violence. Abusive parents, abusive authority begets violent, rebellious and a dysfunctional population. A country that is attacked by a group of individuals but then chooses to attack another country is a bully, in our case a blundering giant playing whack a mole. Too stupid to starve the moles out, pawns of the corporations to use its power to leverage populations that did not favor the corporate theft of their assets or cultural contamination. The current blundering giant is whacking both foreign and domestic moles, in its befuddled brain it thinks that the solution is to whack faster or harder. This chaos is profitable to some, that could be thought of a as a cancer which is destructive to the organism.
There is something funny about those defending torture, enhanced interrogation, abuse - the ticking bomb scenario. These individuals want "abuse" to be policy, then they and their brothers can commit atrocities for the greater good. Tools of the dishonorable are just as dishonorable as their masters, cops that have to frame people, the unskilled that believe in torture are just abusers, thugs hiding behind the skirts of legitimacy. As for the ticking bomb, if "enhanced interrogation" is necessary and the individual executing the process is right then there should be no problem giving the individual a pardon for a stopping the ticking bomb and saving the world - that is what pardons are for.
I did not understand the effect of these groups till I watched what happened to my girlfriend, a foster child, abused as a child, as a wife and then by the Virginia courts. I did not expect that a court in Northern Virginia would implement Biblical law and "punish" a woman in a domestic court - so smooth how they looked away on the years of social services counseling for abuse, forcing her to see a Christian counselor all to support awarding the divorce to the husband and persecuting the chattel. In order to complete this deception they did access my girlfriends mental health records, excluding the actual period of relevance.
What is rather interesting is that the current implementation chooses to ignore issues till a cascade of events is started and then they continue to deny that the situation was caused by their negligent policies and activities. In addition some nexuses of power that could respond to this failure are being neutered. For example the Virginia State Bar's avoidance of "strategy" complaints means that clients do not have to be competently represented. We also have seen how our laws are being usurped with the Yoo-Bybee torture example, giving abusive personalities the excuse to abuse those under their power without consequences.

I always was curious about those that write "manifesto's" and similar rants, yet here I am writing this. One question is why is the individual or various populations dismissed? What motive could there be for a functional society to "ignore" such things? Could it be with intent, as the individual attempts more extreme measures to get the society to listen the more they can be painted as a monster. Demeaning the content of the communications as those of an unstable individual or group allows the finger to be pointed and fear generated. A demonizing tactic used to excite the lemmings into marching off the cliffs of war or against their own best interests. Another anomaly is the Drug War modeled after Prohibition which was identified as a social failure whose consequence was to feed the gangs and increase violence in the community. I found in both Reston and Manassas that we were in the middle of this little pissing contest between the law and their targets, given that the society is a drug culture. This is not a way to maintain a functional society, it does override the laws that protect citizens civil rights and increases the fear in the lemming population. With fear the population can be manipulated, so who is controlling the strings of the puppets? It is not in the best interest of either our model of government or social organizations to use fear to control the population. The process is not at fault it is the implementation, those executing the process in a malicious manner for personal gain are to blame. Corporations are dismantling our government for profit, religious groups have a one dimensional view of the world and both are buying lawmakers to create a favorable environment for their questionable beliefs. Corporation's and Puritan's are a strange marriage indeed.... |
