Reputation, Integrity and Public Trust

Questions about the
Reputation, Integrity and Public Trust
of those implementing governmental processes.

Virginia State Bar an agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia....
Over the last two decades we have had need of legal counsel on numerous occasions. It could be said that we did things wrong, did not do something right but intelligence of a client should not apply in matters of the law. So here are some questions that we have...
Police - trusted to protect the public and enforce the law.
Over the last two decades we could have used effective law enforcement, the first time was in dealing with stalking, assaults and threats from my girlfriends husband. We moved, the courts forced us to release our new street address to the husband's attorney and within months the husband shows up and accosts my girlfriend at her employment thirty miles from his residence, excused as coincidence. Then there were the locals who got upset with us and started vandalizing our property, poisoning our dog and by puncturing a radiator a cat. These just identified cops that were professionally inept and that law enforcement was not a solution to problems. It also identified that attorneys retained to represent would not use the reports to support a divorce case.

However there is one incident where the cops assaulted me, had my girlfriend hitchhike ten miles home in a medically impaired state and the event occurred in a CVS pharmacy which had security cameras. This case went from a rather minor event caused by an individual cop that lost sight of their duties, choosing to frame someone. I would include the group of cops with the one that started the assault, however when he started the assault I was facing the back of the store, he was between me and his buddies so his yelling and jumping back created a hostile environment.

Good cop / Bad cop irrelevant to this page, does what was done afterwards define a pattern, is corruption an acceptable process ?
Community Service Board (CSB)
Social Services has been one organization that has been there for my girlfriend, there have been no charities that helped her.

However on several occasions Social Services let her down, when she escaped the womans shelter would only put her up for thirty days but there was a six month wait for housing - this is unacceptable if one is trying to escape abuse.

Then there have been two incidents, one in 2005 and again in 2010 where my girlfriend was having a reaction to Zoloft, when she called CSB they told her to go to the ER on both occasions. These ER visits left her in debt adding to her depression and anxiety. Repeating the same situation identifies a staff that does not review records and is not proactive in eliminating procedural failures. In addition it does not wean patients off of their services or identify themselves as a functional institution.
