The American Citizen Narrative
The government that represents them.

The American Citizen
The Narrative

There is a claim that some Americans follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and Christianity is supposed to assist the weak. That the American federation was founded on the philosophy of Jesus Christ, it was supposed address the "unfairness" of life, that all citizens were created equal. There is also a claim that there is a separation of Church and State along with a concept of adhering to "rule of law".

The reality is that life is not fair, that the platitudes voiced are not followed, ethnicity, gender, economic and many other classes are not respected as being equal. The modern American does not hold those that they have elected accountable for their actions. Over the last decade, 2000-2010 the Bush administration exposed themselves for being deceivers, liars, thieves who established policies of corruption. Rule of law was open to interpretation, by supporting profiteers on foreign soils we sponsored the standing up of puppet governments backed by our military. These policies did not make the average American citizen safer in the world, it did give profits to those some considered entitled.

We have heard rhetoric of religion, entitlement, greed and bigotry. This is not new, they are tools used to control the gullible, selling fear to for profit and creating division for control - out of chaos there is opportunity.

Look at the Health Care issue, we hear complaints about government getting involved in this process, yet the government has the most to gain from a healthy society, where everyone, as many as possible are working to support the community - especially in the government by the people model. Yet here we have a population who make claims of paying "fair share", denying care to the sick so that those in crisis, the weak and sick remain dependent on a predatory system. Sick, dissatisfied people are a drain on a social structure especially if they have been sucked dry through predation.

Expectations

We had expected that the courts would provide an unbiased judgment, that law enforcement was accountable for their actions. That people would support those in crisis.

What was not expected was hearing the Bible read in court or law enforcement without accountability for their actions. It was not expected that a society such as America would avoid those in crisis, specifically those in crisis because of the dysfunctional systems that were voted in. Apparently the private sector, the sector run purely by profits will assist in aiding those that it preyed upon, for some reason I do not think so.

The American Perspective
My observations / our experiences - the foundation from which I write.

When my girlfriend was escaping her abusive husband there were a few individuals that provided shelter for her and the minor child, they took the brunt of the consequences from the decision to take her in. These people were not members of middle class society, they were of the working class and knew what life on the edge means. Virginia's assistance consisted of thirty days shelter and a six month wait for housing, leaving a gap of five months without assistance. The expectation of the State was that they would go back to their abusers, turn tricks for a living or be lucky and find employment. In my girlfriends case she had used up the shelter and was staying at a friends place, the husband was stalking, assaulting and threatening everyone who got in his way. If she got a job, he showed up and accosted her, the employer would consider her too much trouble and she would either be fired or quit to attempt to find another opportunity, social services and a few friends attempted assistance but the courts, law enforcement or private sector "charities" were useless.

The useless middle class - associates whose solutions were avoidance, not my problem philosophy.

I was told by some of my associates to lose the baggage, get rid of my girlfriend, more trouble than she was worth. I had the naive expectation that when her attorney executed due diligence, reviewed material, talked to the doctors and counselors treating spousal abuse that my girlfriend would be provided an opportunity. I did not expect Bible reading, attorney collusion, politics or Virginia kangaroo courts.

Maybe my associates were right, that in our corrupt culture the only rule is to run faster than someone else and let them become prey. The American way, I find this an unacceptable response.

What I tried - note the response or lack of response from this society.

I may have been wrong in my approach, maybe the Manassas Police department had a Internal Affairs, I have not seen a contact. I wrote to the Police Chief expecting a responsible leader who at the minimum would not want my message going out on his troops - there was no response, this demonstrates a negligent leader. With the attorneys, the ones we did afford "overlooked" presented material, we could not afford counsel to represent our positions on the "malpractice" and as a result of their failures to execute due diligence our assets declined, we also made mistakes.

Consider how the professionals we retained and interfaced with handled the execution of their roles: I tried the Internet, thought that some aid might come from this media. Predatory businesses, wars for profit, negligent leaders, infected processes and they wonder about the crime.....

This is what they voted for, these people voted their ignorance for negligence. Ironically it is not the ignorant that should be blamed, it is those who claim to be smart enough to lead and the predators who were fleecing this country.

It goes back to the education, business leaders, lawyers, law makers and clergy went to the same schools, took the same training and learned to believe that for some reason they were entitled. Look at these leaders works, the state of our economy, the state of our society. They are much worse than the working schmuck trying to make ends meet with a job that may not pay well, but enjoy and unfortunately listen to the deceivers on the radio.

Disposable People
I was told to lose the baggage - by associates when addressing my girlfriends situation.

Rather than addressing, helping with the situation the Americans chose avoidance, I no longer fit within their clique, I was helping someone they considered unentitled - so I became ostracized also. This shows throughout our social strata and especially in the American court system, the process that is supposed to protect people.

As I sat in the court, watched as Mr. Brent remained silent and did not use material I could not understand a professional being that negligent. When Judge Valentine allowed Mr. Sharman to read from the Bible to the courts I wondered about church and state. Police assault someone and the retained attorney does not bother with reviewing the security video. Legal aid that never responds, to those who it is tasked to aid.

There is no point in this social construct, the citizen is disposable especially if they are in crisis.
