We woke early to check
out of the hotel. We wanted to be on the tube before 7:30 to beat the
crushing rush hour to Victoria Station. We had succeeded. We had a
quick breakfast of bagels and hot chocolate at the station. We then
boarded a Gatwick Express train to Gatwick. We had a last shopping
chance at Duty Free at Gatwick, plus our last sample of Fish and
Chips. We spent about 45 minutes resting at the Continental
President's Club overlooking the runways prior to our flight time.

We then boarded our NW
Airlines DC-10 to Minneapolis-St. Paul to head home. This turned out
to be a great vacation.
