Many vendors and organizations offer certification programs for people who consult or train in a particular area of expertise. Although certification isn’t required in most fields, it can enhance your qualifications. Often, people who complete a certification program earn the right to display a certification logo on their materials (business cards, letterhead, website, etc.). This provides an excellent credential to any potential clients considering hiring you or your business.
