For a monthly fee, you receive a dedicated local or toll-free number that you can print on your business cards and correspondence as your fax number. Anyone can send a fax to your eFax number from any fax device the same as they would if they were sending it to a dedicated fax machine hooked up at your home office. People can also leave voice messages using your eFax number and the message is delivered to you as an audio file attached to an email message. However, to read a fax or listen to a voice message, you have to use the eFax software which they provide when you sign up.
