Kelly Goes to McDonald's

Hey Guys,

Sydney's nice. Its a little cold, but not too bad considering its winter. I haven't actually gone into the city yet though. You have to take a bus and i have a ton of work to do tonight :( we had our first class with the UNSW professor. It was really interesting and neat, but 4 hours every morning can get a little tiring. we talked about the differences between US culture and Australian. He makes it interesting and funny. like asking us what terms we've heard or experiences and then telling us stories about when he's been to the US.

I wrote down a bunch of the phrases they use, because i thought you might think they were funny. I have a bunch of work to do, but that's what i'm here for right?

i have a funny story -- we went to Mcdonald's on the bus ride over here. i asked for a cheeseburger with just lettuce, ketchup and tomato... i literally got JUST lettuce, ketchup and tomato! how funny is that?
