Cabinet

I think it would have been more rewarding to build your own cabinet, however with a newborn son here that would have been impossible.  I decided I would purchase a cabinet.  A local "sell coin-ops to the public" store sent me to their warehouse/repair facility a few miles up the road. I knew I wanted one of the newer cabinets because the older ones have 19" screens. In the back of the warehouse there were 2 almost identical cabinets. They had no side art, just black paint and red t-moulding.  Both were missing their 25"monitors. One was missing a marquee, the other was missing a bezel. Since I was going to make my own marquee, I chose the one that had the bezel. Turns out they were Mortal Kombat's that had been converted to Tekken. I did spend a bit too much here $150.00. It seems these still have some value because they can be converted into Golden Tee's, dropped into a dive bar and turn a profit. I'm very happy with the cabinet but if I had this to do over again I might shop around and get a better deal.  These games are built to withstand some abuse. HEAVY plywood and strongly built. My cabinet weighs over 300 lbs.  It wasn't easy to get it up a short flight of stairs at my house.
