88-89 Dirk Graham
"Duke" was never afraid to get his nose dirty or stick up for a teammate. When I think of a Captain, this is who
I imagine. Dirk would drop the gloves with most anyone in the league, dig the puck out of the corners and score
key goals. He is one of my all-time favorite Hawks. Selke Award winner for best defensive forward in 90-91.

| 88-89 CCM Ultrafil home Dirk Graham. This one's a beauty... I count 38 repairs, stick marks,
burns, an unrepaired hole, paint transfers, great pilling inside... what more could you ask for! There's also a customization,
an extra piece of fightstrap sewn into the front left inner hem with a snap. I am told that this was to snap to
some extra padding when Dirk had a hip injury during the year to hide it from
opponents. A HAMMERED jersey and one of
my favs. Dirk became captain this year after Keenan stripped it from Savard.

Custom snap sewn in the front hem to attach
additional padding. Also on the red from this set.

Match taken from Hockey Stars magazine's 89-90 season preview issue. Matching takes patience sometimes, just happened
to luck into this one!
