87-88 Dirk Graham
"Duke" was never afraid to get his nose dirty or stick up for a teammate. When I think of a Captain, this is who
I imagine. Dirk would drop the gloves with most anyone in the league, dig the puck out of the corners and score
key goals. He is one of my all-time favorite Hawks. Selke Award winner for best defensive forward in 90-91. |
| 87-88 Dirk Graham CCM home Ultrafil, this one
was recycled from previous years, as Graham was a mid season pickup and
since his former #21 was retired, opted for an unusual number that the
Hawks probably didn't have available in the flat-faced sytle crest.
So he wore an older Gunzo's 84-85 style jersey, that was probably worn
in the Preseason by Manson the year before. Great wear, 18
repairs, great fight abuse, the works. Photomatched & viseomatched. |
