91-92 Stu Grimson "The Grim Reaper" was a madman in his days as a Hawk... and one of the most popular players on a team with many stars. I still remember the "STU" chant from the rafters of Chicago Stadium. Needless to say, he was not popular for his 17 career goals scored. I feel pretty lucky to have this one, there can't be too many Grimson Hawk jerseys out there... |

This 91-92 Ultrafil road jersey of Stu Grimson is a beauty. Has the 75th patch with residue
of the 90-91 All Star patch underneath, so used in both years. 2 repairs on the left sleeve, one on the back, one by the neck,
top of nameplate is resewn, and the entire neck has been resewn on... "fight abuse" (love that term). Overall, lighter wear,
but great because it's Stu. The fight snaps are rusted shut, minor pilling inside. Obtained from forum member.
Hawks jerseys with the 75th patch are pretty tough to come by, as they recycled shirts from year to year in the early 90's (note the 90-91 AS patch taken off of this one & my 93-94 Russell). Many 91-92's also ended up with the SCF patch (see my Smith), there are probably more SCF patched 91-92's around than 75th patched non-TBTC shirts. |
