"The sexual encounters are fervent in their intensity, making this an intriguing read."

Karen L. Hunt, Coffee Time Romance

In FUTURELOVE, Summer Devon has created an interesting story with the potential for a great new series (though that may be this reviewer’s wishful thinking). The writing and dialogue are excellent, the plot is intriguing, and the sex scenes are sensual. . . FUTURELOVE is sci-fi romance at its best.

Candy tucked her feet up on the bench and morosely contemplated a flock of pigeons. Something thudded down next to her.

Jamming herself against the arm of the bench, she stared. A man. A large disheveled man in a strange black getup. She jumped to her feet. For a wild moment she wondered if she'd managed to summon him with her thoughts. But then her instincts kicked in. She suddenly grew aware that a big male stranger had landed way too close.

"What the heck are you doing?" She backed farther away. "There are seventy benches in this damn park and…oh…"

He pressed his palm against his forehead and closed his eyes. A dark smear of blood marred his cheek. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hand. "Are you all right?"

He gazed at her. She met perfect hazel eyes in a perfect face. Too perfect. He gave a slow nod. "I think I've been what is called…er…mugged." He gave a soft groan and more blood trickled down the side of his face.

"Damn," she yelped. "Hold on. We gotta call the police." She opened her woven bag, scrabbled through it looking for her cell phone.

"No." A very large, very strong hand grabbed hers. "No, give me a moment. I shall recover and be on my way." He had the oddest flat accent. Scandinavian perhaps. The faint color drained from his face and he looked pale—bordering on grey.

"Hey, are you about to faint? Should I call an ambulance?"

He waved a hand at her. "No, please do go about your business, madam. I promise I shall return to normal soon."

If he ever had been normal… Her rude thought shamed her. Jeez, poor guy, visiting from another country and getting mugged? "At least let me help walk you to the hospital or something. It's only a few blocks from here."
