Classification Project

Purpose: 

The purpose of this project is to create six new species of  animals. 

Requirements:

create three vertebrates and three invertebrates

*animals must be believable, such as a change in color or a moderate change in size or appearance of a known animal
 (in other words, no flying cows or giant aquatic ants)

For each of the six animals, you must

fill out a “New Life Form”

        diagram its classification

draw a picture of its physical appearance   

Grading:

Grades will assigned for each animal created based on the following criteria: 

           New Life Form………………..7 pts.

         Classification diagrams…….….5 pts.

          Picture of new species………...8 pts.   

The grades for the animals will be averaged together, with each person receiving a grade based on the three animals he/she completed for the project
