I enjoyed the honor of of co-owning this exquisite bitch with
Elsa Gambert throughout her show career.
We take special pride in Misty's UKC accomplishments.
Under the UKC judging program, judges of the Belgian Shepherd Dogs are all
Belgian breeders and they write critiques which are published in the UBSDA
National Club newsletter. We are honored to have received excellent ratings and noteworthy wins under judges Mme Berton-Sarlat (President Club Francais Du
Chien De Berger Belge), Greg Storms (Canada), Russ Beach, Pat Johnson,
Rhonda Smiley, Bob and Barbara Krohn, Ann MacKay, Maureen Gargon, Sandy
Shaw, L.E. Stanbridge (Canada) and Eric Desschans (Belgium). At the 2002 UBSDA National Specialty
show Misty was Best in Working Sweepstakes under judge Paula Fobelets-Aertgeerts (Belgium). Misty was twice proclaimed UBSDA's "Top
Total Dog", for the years 2000 and 2002 for her accomplishments in breed and
performance combined. She was UKC's #1 winning Belgian Shepherd (all
varieties) for the year 2002.
At the Belgian Sheepdog Club of Canada National Specialty, June 2004, Misty
placed 2nd in the beautiful class of Open bitches under breeder-judge Mrs.
Pauline Stern-Hanf Vandenbemden from Belgiu,.
In the AKC breed ring Misty finished her
championship with major wins under breeder-judge Pat Johnson, and all-rounders
Robert C. Thomas, Raymond McGinnis, and Kathleen Kanzler. She has not been
campaigned in the AKC ring. She holds the AKC agility titles of AX and AXJ
with many first places and is on her way to Masters titles.
A bitch with tremendous work ethic,
Misty loves agility, herding and her frisbee! Her health certifications are listed on the CHIC
database. She is seizure free at age 5 1/2 years. Misty's Mom Elsa
