| Greetings Brothers and Friends,
This will be my
final message from the East. We have had a very busy and successful
year.
I want to thank
our cook, Tom Hedlund, for his service to the lodge. We also welcome
and thank our new cooks, Mary and Kathy. A hardy welcome to Nels
Edlund and Bill Spencer as plural members. Robert Maisonet is our
newest petitioner.
The elections are

Join us on Sunday,
December 6th, 2pm, at Washington Temple for our annual Christmas party.
There will be fun, friendship, and refreshments for children and adults.
Saturday, December
12th, following our Stated Meeting, a short Temple Association Meeting,
and brunch, will be the Installation of Officers.
Sunday, December
27th, 2pm, Palestine Lodge will be hosting the St. John's Day Service for
District #5 at Washington Temple. Our officers for 2010 will take
their stations at this time.
We wish the best
to our shut-ins: Earl Kruger, Jack Miethe, and Art Spor. We were
pleased to see John Baldwin at our November stated. Fritz Frohnert
was in the hospital for a week with pneumonia, and was in Clackamas Rehab
for a week, but is home now. We hope they will be well enough to
join us at lodge in the near future.
Sunnyside had three
Brothers pass away: "Dewey" Tilton, Jim Cook, and John Wallace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones.
Thanks to all of
you for your continued support, thus making my year a great term.
