Camper Cabinets

Westfalia style Spice Racks for the SO-42 camper kit

This Spice Rack aka Whatnot Cabinet hangs on the rear hinged side door, and unfortunately is frequently missing. They came with the white formica with grey hatching for the top 65 through part of 66, then switched to the wood grained formica for the top.

The cabinet is $250 plus $25 core change. Made largely out of vintage materials.

or we can put the white top on the cabinet:

If your cabinet is missing the top, the top is available separately. This includes the stationary piece that screws to the cabinet, the hinged top, and the angled piece of wood underneath that fits into the metal bracket on the door. $40 for the top in your choice of either wood grain or white with grey hatching.

Corner Cupboard

This cabinet sits in the back corner on the left side. We may make these in the future is there is interest. The original rectangular plastic handle would not be included, sorry.

Note on Formica

The colour of the wood grained formica might have been slightly changed in about 1969 or 1970. The pattern remained the same. The picture on the right below shows two shades of the formica. I've also seen a shade between those two. Really it's not clear if this all was a batch difference, an aging difference or what. In any case... people don't seem to notice when a spice rack of a different shade is hung on the door of my 65 SO-42, but I just thought I'd point it out anyway.

Below, an original spice rack on left, new on right.
