Interior Panels
by SUNRISEBUSWERK
All our interior panels are made here at Sunrisebuswerk. We pride ourselves on their accurate fit, which is why there are so many choices. One size does not fit all!
Often changes to the shapes were made at random times, so please specify which style you would like.

with holes for snap fasteners
Front Door Panels are $40 grey, or $30 bare. Please specify which style.
Pocket Hole front door panels: Front door panels came with pockets through March of 61 on all buses. Our panels do not come with pockets attached, but you can attach your old pockets onto them with the included rivets.
Regular front door panels: In 4/61 the pockets were discontinued. This style was used 4/61 through 12/63, but can be used on all splitty buses.
Snap Hole front door panels: When the front doors got push button handles the door panels were attached with snap fasteners. The snap hole door panels have holes in the correct place for these snaps. Snaps not included. We do not carry snaps.
SUNVISOR PANELS:
Sunvisor panels were used on buses with headliners and covered with headliner material.
$20/ pair bare.
BULKHEAD:
. . .
basalt bulkhead
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
grey bulkhead
Bench seat buses use 4 panels for the bulkhead. The first picture shows an original installation. There is one panel each side of the spare tire bulge, one around the bulge, and a flat piece on top. To use these panels you need to have the frame as shown in the 2nd picture.
$55 grey, $45 bare for stock bench seat microbus style (4pc)to use with your frame.
If you don't have the frame, there's an alternate method ... 3rd picture. This style will reach down to the floor, and does not use rubber matting or trim strips. The center piece is made of wood and could be varnished instead of painted grey.
$70 in grey for this early westy style (3 pc)(no metal frame needed)
$30 grey or $25 bare for Walkthrough panels (2 pieces) Ash tray holder and ashtray not included. Holes are drilled for grab handle on right...unless otherwise specified.
Please say whether you want partition panels to reach to the floor, or be stock length for use with rubber matting for the bottom 1/3.

Panel behind the side doors. The style shown in grey was used for buses with outie engine louvers, the style shown bare on buses with innies.
Also pics of vents, to show the difference between outies and innies.
Price is $20 grey, $15 bare.
Add $5 if you want it tall (for a panelvan.)
REAR HATCH PANELS:
rear hatch 64-79
. . . . . . . . . .
55-63 hatch
Rear hatch 64-70 can come with or without holes for the original snaps.
Price for early or late hatch panel is $20 grey, $15 plain.
BACK CORNER PANELS:
upper 55-63
. . . . .
lower 64-67
. . .
55-63 lower
Pictures of the 64-67 non deluxe, and 64-67 deluxe, upper corners coming soon.
Please specify whether your bus is a walkthough or not as walk through lower corner panels have a cut out for the spare tire holder, like in the right most panel in the center picture. Bench seat buses don't need that.
The lower corner panels were changed when the buses got innie vents, and again when the back hatch was widened. This means there is a style for part of 63 only, for use with the earlier style of wall panels.
Corner panels are $35/ pair grey or $30/ pair bare
COLORS AVAILABLE:
All of our panels are available painted grey with a colour and texture similar to original, or plain (if you want to paint or cover them yourself). We will paint them any colour as long as it's this grey. Black may be offered at some point. The texture is smoother than on original panels. Some of the images have a blue tint, which is odd as the panels were on a white, not a light blue background. The grey panels are all the same grey.
OTHER INTERIOR PANELS:
The panels we make are not limited to the ones in the pictures! Feel free to ask.
The most frequent pieces in need of replacement are the panels in the drivers area and rear hatch, so we try to keep these in stock.
We are small, and are happy to do custom work and special orders. We could also make panels for barndoors, bay window buses, etc. if there is interest.

When ordering panels, please specify which style your want (ie pocket hole, regular, or snap front door panels.) Many changes were mid model year, particularly mid 1963.
Also, please say whether you want them plain or grey, and
Include a zip code for figuring shipping costs.
I DON'T KNOW
what you mean by 'a set of panels' for your bus. If you ask for that, I will ask you a bunch of questions to define exactly what your bus is, and which panels you want for it. So please just be specific up front. The psychic powers are unreliable.
I will try to change this page around to make ordering easier.
