The Jefferson Davis Highway Markers

The membership of SUVCW Governor Isaac Stevens Camp #1 supports the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission Director's decision to relocate the Jefferson Davis Highway marker within Peace Arch Memorial Park.

We ask the Commission to strongly consider and accept the recommendations of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and other Civil War related history and heritage organizations in selecting the ideal wording for any interpretive addition that may become associated with the marker.
