Meeting Minutes

Apr 6, 2002, Snohomish GAR Cemetery

2. Meeting called to order by Camp Commander Ken Richmond, commencing with Flag Salute and Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Members Present: Ken Richmond, Jeff Henningfield, Mike Cook, Norm Harriman, Bruce Smith, Al Farrand, Glen Allison.

4. Guests present: Marjorie Reeves, UDC Robert E. Lee Chapter 885, Seattle, Washington.

Note: This was an abbreviated camp meeting held in conjunction with the 4th Annual "Honoring Their Memory" ceremony.

5. Applicants presented, voted on and accepted into membership: Gil Murray

6. Old Business: Status of the Jefferson Highway markers. Camp informed that the northern marker had been removed and placed in storage. Plan is to re-set the marker elsewhere in the Peace Arch Park. Camp voted to adopt a resolution stating it's official position on the matter.

7. Raffle tickets were distributed to members present.

8. The monument cleaning at the Puyallup Cemetery and dedication of of MG Sprague's new headstone in Tacoma were firmed up for 27 April. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 at the old Tacoma Cemetery at 48th and South Tacoma Way.
