We headed over to the Chowanec's for a party to celebrate the arrival of their second son, Dylan.

Lila discovered a big mirror and was thrilled to meet herself for the first time.

Ally and Brian invited the fam out for a catamaran cruise of the bay. We had a great time taking in the sights with Joe, Karen, Brian, Allison, Barbara and George, and Maria. This was Lila's second boat ride and luckily a life-jacket wasn't required this time!



After, we headed back to Brian and Al's place for great food and company!

Our friend Shao Wei, an artist that works with Sean, painted an amazing watercolor of Lila. Sean had it framed and we showed it to Lila who was very excited!

The watercolor is amazing -- it really captures Lila's funny personality. We are so grateful for the wonderful gift!

We took a road trip to Half Moon Bay and had a great day at the beach!

We were visited by an albino Preying Mantis today. So exciting!

Cindy and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary today and had a great day! Gma came over to take Lila.



I found some great easles at Aaron Brothers. We found our old brushes and oils and spent the day painting (stay tuned for posts with the results!)

Late in the afternoon, Cindy and I went out to the DeYoung museum in Golden Gate park to catch the Chihuly exhibit.

So much for technology though -- Google maps, the navigation system in the car, my iPhone all conspired to send us to the wrong museum -- we ended up at the Legion of Honor, but eventually made our way to DeYoung.

Dinner at Ebisu and then back over to Gma's to grab Lila.
