Stephen F. Wedemeyer

Steve Wedemeyer was raised in a family who “live the arts.” His father was an art teacher, his mother a journalist and piano teacher, so he grew up in an atmosphere that tolerated creative thinking and artistic expression.

Art & Illustration

The Art & Illustration tab is intended to give you a comprehensive look at Steve’s professional and personal work. from the ’60s to the present. It is arranged in three sections: Drawing, Painting and Sculpture/3-D.

Design & Layout

The Design & Layout tab is an electronic portfolio of Steve’s professional career from the late ’70s to today. The “samples” are categorized as Advertising, Catalog, Other and Publication. As you browse through the samples, look for the award-winning design pieces as noted. There is also a resumé outlining Steve’s career in design and graphic arts since 1978.

Music & Lyrics

The Music & Lyrics tab is arranged in three collections of audio music samples, along with lyrics if the composition includes lyrics. Collection One is five samples from a CD Steve completed in 1999 titled Extinct (but not forgotten). Collection Two is five songs from his next CD produced in 2002 titled Sister, Daughter, Mother. Collection Three is a sampling of three symphonic movements and three compositions for Steve’s upcoming CD, I Wanna Be Like Dad.
